Gołąbki - Stuffed Cabbage Rolls
Traditional Polish cabbage rolls filled with meat and rice. Simmered in tomato sauce until tender. 'Little pigeons' in Polish. Labor of love that feeds the whole family.

Ingredients
- 1 large Cabbage head
- 500 g Ground pork
- 200 g Rice
- 2 medium Onion
- 800 ml Tomato sauce
- 200 g Mushrooms
Instructions
Boil whole cabbage 10 min, separate leaves.
Mix ground pork with cooked rice and sautéed onion.
Place filling on cabbage leaves, roll tightly.
Layer rolls in pot with tomato sauce.
Simmer covered 90 min.
Serve with sauce.
💡 Tips & Variations
Freeze cabbage overnight to soften leaves easily. Make large batch - freezes perfectly. Tastes better next day.
