Sztuka Mięsa - Boiled Beef with Horseradish
Classic Polish boiled beef served with horseradish sauce. Simple preparation yields tender, flavorful meat. Traditional Sunday dinner.

Ingredients
- 1 kg Beef brisket
- 3 medium Carrots
- 200 g Celery root
- 1 large Onion
- 2 leaves Bay leaves
- 10 peppercorns Peppercorns
- 200 ml Horseradish sauce
Instructions
Place beef in pot with vegetables and spices.
Cover with water, bring to boil.
Skim, simmer gently 2 hours.
Remove meat, slice against grain.
Serve with horseradish sauce and vegetables.
Use broth for soup.
💡 Tips & Variations
Don't boil rapidly - meat becomes tough. Save broth for rosół. Horseradish should be freshly grated.
