Pierniki - Polish Gingerbread
Traditional Polish gingerbread cookies, especially popular at Christmas. Spiced with cinnamon, cloves, ginger. Often decorated with icing.

Ingredients
- 500 g Flour
- 200 g Honey
- 150 g Sugar
- 100 g Butter
- 2 eggs Eggs
- 3 tbsp Gingerbread spices
- 1 tsp Baking soda
Instructions
Heat honey, sugar, butter until melted.
Cool, add eggs, spices.
Mix in flour and baking soda.
Chill dough overnight.
Roll out, cut shapes.
Bake at 180°C for 12 min.
💡 Tips & Variations
Dough must rest overnight. Spice mixture includes cinnamon, cloves, ginger, cardamom. Decorate with icing.
